The Treasury Is Shuttered and Devoid of Funds: Pensions, Salaries, and Health Facilities Are Shuttered After Credit
This economic slaughter of ordinary workers and pensioners continues without a thought, while the looting and luxury of such mafia-like corrupt administrators is on the rise.
The CBA union has become a waste of time and money; it has become the corrupt shield for the mafia by getting wrapped up in self-interests. It was the same institution that raised the voice of the workers, now, with its gaze turned away, clamoring helplessly for the looting of its assets to continue.
The Minister of Information and Broadcasting issued rude yet disappointing statements, which could represent a desperate justification for incompetence by saying, “Even private channels would take four months before releasing salaries”. He added that PTV would still stand, even under the guise of its problem of salaries being delayed. However, such comments reflect the complete ignorance regarding the history and significance of this national institution.
Other ministries would shamelessly join the rot with attacks and badgering of PTV in the belief that Mr Atta Tarar was invisible to the neglect towards the PTV employees. These comments carried with them an admission by the Federal Minister of Information, himself, the Corrupt Mafia, which bankrupted the PTV.
The employees of Pakistan Television are in full-blown street protests because of the abysmal situation they find themselves facing. Protests have been going on for over two weeks at all PTV centers, with employees demanding accountability against corrupt administration and government indifference.
The protests and demonstrations will go on until the employees’ demands are heard. On the other hand, some 350 retired employees are still finding their rights.
