Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sara Ahmed takes notice of alleged child abuse

A madrassa reciting teacher in Talagang, Punjab, has abused a minor student.

According to News, on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sara Ahmed took notice of the alleged child abuse incident and directed the Child Protection Bureau Rawalpindi team to immediately contact the affected child and his family.

Chairperson Sara Ahmed said that the incident of a madrassa reciting teacher raping a 14-year-old child in Talagang is extremely regrettable. The madrassa reciting teacher threatened the 14-year-old child after raping him. The police have started action against the accused after registering an FIR.

Sara Ahmed has said that all possible assistance will be provided to the minor victim of the abuse, psychological counseling will be provided to the abused child.
