Convener Awam Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, along with his party delegation, visited Darul Uloom Haqqania Akora Khattak and condoled the martyrdom of Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani.
He said, “We had deep and long-standing relations with Maulana Hamidul Haq and his father Maulana Samiul Haq, and their martyrdom is a serious tragedy. This is a time of mourning for the entire country.
“Unfortunately, in the current situation in the country, no one is safe. If we do not demonstrate unity in the country, the enemy will be heavy on us. We will have to work together to protect our homeland.
“We need to bring all political parties together on one platform to eliminate terrorism so that peace can be established in the country and our people remain safe.
