Karachi, Pakistan – President Asif Ali Zardari’s health is on the mend, and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital within the next 48 hours. His personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, confirmed that the president is medically fit and is being monitored by a panel of expert doctors.

In a press conference at the hospital, Dr. Hussain dismissed rumors of the president’s death as “AI-created” and “fake.” He urged the public to be cautious of misinformation spread by political opponents and the Indian media on social media platforms.

This is not the first time President Zardari has faced health issues. In July 2022, he contracted COVID-19, although with mild symptoms. He has also had a fractured foot, underwent eye surgery in the United Arab Emirates, and was hospitalized for a chest infection and exhaustion in the past.

Dr. Hussain stated that the president is recovering from a low-impact variant of COVID-19 and is managing his high blood pressure and diabetes. He is undergoing treatment with antiviral medication and is being closely monitored by a team of experts.

The president was admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after his health deteriorated and was shifted from Nawabshah. Despite his health issues, President Zardari remains a key figure in Pakistani politics, and his health continues to be a topic of interest for the public and the media.

The spread of misinformation about the president’s health highlights the need for accurate and reliable information. Dr. Hussain’s press conference was a welcome move to set the record straight and provide the public with the latest updates on the president’s condition.

As the president continues to recover, the nation will be watching closely for any developments regarding his health and future plans. For now, it seems that President Zardari is on the road to recovery, and his discharge from the hospital is imminent
