PM Shehbaz Sharif attends Christmas Rituals at Islamabad

In a heartfelt address at a Christmas event in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz urged Pakistanis to unite for peace, progress, and prosperity. He emphasized the significance of Prophet Isa (Jesus) and his mother, Maryam (Mary), in Islam, highlighting their mention in the Holy Quran.

The premier also drew attention to the plight of Palestinians, particularly in Bethlehem, where “murder and brutality are rampant.” He called on the global community to demand an end to Israel’s aggression and secure a ceasefire in Gaza.

 

PM Shehbaz praised the Christian community in Pakistan, acknowledging their contributions to education, border security, and wartime efforts. He specifically mentioned notable figures like former Chief Justice Alvin Robert Cornelius and human rights activist Cecil Chaudhry.

 

The prime minister’s message emphasized the importance of brotherhood, patience, tolerance, and emotional control. He stressed the need to care for religious minorities, treating them with affection and respect, so they feel proud to be part of Pakistan.
