The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) said that Saudi Arabia is emerging as a major global tourism destination and more than 2.8 million Pakistanis could visit the kingdom by 2025. The statement issued by the Saudi Tourism Authority after an event organized in Karachi to promote tourism highlighted the growing tourism ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is rapidly becoming an attractive destination for Pakistani travelers due to its religious obligations as well as world-class hospitality. The Saudi Tourism Authority said that Saudi Arabia is emerging as a major global tourism destination by 2025, providing exciting new opportunities for Pakistani travelers.
According to the statement: “Over 2.7 million Pakistani tourists visited Saudi Arabia in 2024 and 2.87 million are expected in 2025, strengthening the country’s reach and diverse experiences beyond religious tourism. Saudi Arabia is improving travel for various sectors, including solo female travel, getting married in a new location, and cultural aspects.
The statement also highlighted that the talents of Pakistanis and tourists are having a significant impact on Saudi Arabia’s developing tourism and entertainment industries. In 2024, Pakistani e-sports players dominated the E-Sports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh, beating over 1,700 competitors.In the future, Saudi Arabia is set to redefine luxury travel with exclusive Red Sea, including Six Senses Southern Dunes, JW Marriott.
According to the Saudi Tourism Authority, these world-class resorts promise an unparalleled maritime tourism experience with high-end hospitality. The tourism authority said the Leap IT Expo recorded the highest participation of Pakistani exhibitors, highlighting Pakistan’s growing influence in the technology industry. The statement added that this tourism campaign will focus on presenting Saudi Arabia through various aspects, which will encourage Pakistanis from the fashion and media industries to choose Saudi Arabia as their next creative and business partner.
Saudi Arabia’s latest initiatives include group inclusive tours, which facilitate group travel, and special last-minute Ramadan packages that allow pilgrims to experience the spirituality of the holy month in a relaxed atmosphere. The statement said: “The issuance of e-visas for Umrah pilgrims has made religious travel even easier, allowing for unhindered entry at any Saudi airport. The Saudi Tourism Authority adds that as the largest hub for direct flights between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the country has an extensive air network and a seamless tourist visa process, making travel between the two countries easier than ever.
According to the statement: “Pilgrims can visit eight UNESCO World Heritage sites, enjoy the business environment, and experience Umrah without Muharram. Referring to various tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia, it was said that the Asir region, with its rugged terrain, high hills, and lush greenery, offers an attractive summer recreation opportunity. While Taif is famous for its enchanting rose gardens and thrilling cable car adventures, the coastal and cultural capital of Jeddah invites visitors to explore Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its centuries-old souq and historic architecture.

Pakistanis people are a great Nation in the world but due to some people, Pakistanis are facing a lot of problems in getting visas.
