In the murky corridors of Pakistan’s political landscape, power struggles have always been intense, but recent revelations expose a shocking new dimension. Reports suggest that former Prime Minister Imran Khan is being fed fabricated national newspapers inside Adiala Jail—papers that look identical to those available in the market but contain altered content.

These manipulated newspapers are allegedly printed in a secure safe house near GHQ in Rawalpindi under utmost secrecy. This covert project has been given the code name “Adiala Edition”, a psychological warfare strategy orchestrated by intelligence agencies. The main objective of these fake newspapers is to weaken PTI from within and convince Imran Khan that his loyalists are abandoning him. Simultaneously, individuals suspected of working for intelligence agencies—such as Ali Amin Gandapur, Faisal Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Sher Afzal Marwat, Fawad Chaudhry, and Asad Umar—are being projected as the true loyalists of the party.

One example of this manipulation is the repeated publishing of false news against PTI’s Junaid Akbar, aiming to create distrust between him and Imran Khan. Similarly, Ali Amin Gandapur, now the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been presented as a trusted ally, despite allegations that he is aligned with anti-Khan forces.

This operation is part of a psychological warfare campaign to break Imran Khan’s resolve, fracture PTI’s unity, and install agency-backed figures within the party. Reports indicate that this operation is being executed by a massive military-run network, including compromised journalists who are being paid handsomely to push this agenda. As a result, almost 90% of PTI is now under external influence, while the remaining 10% of true loyalists have either fled the country or been silenced.

However, despite this intricate web of deception, real information still manages to reach Imran Khan in some way, keeping him aware of the reality. This revelation raises critical questions: If a national leader can be manipulated in this manner, what about ordinary citizens? Is journalism in Pakistan truly independent, or just another tool in a well-coordinated power game? The answers may lie buried under layers of deception, but the truth has a way of surfacing—sooner or later
