A beggar named Muzaffar Hussain from Faisalabad recently accused the police of snatching Rs 700,000 from him while he was on his way to buy a plot. The police claimed the beggar was lying about the source of the money, but Hussain surprised everyone by revealing he had amassed a fortune of over Rs 300 million through 50 years of begging.
The court ordered a case against the police officials involved after Hussain provided proof of his substantial bank balance. Hussain stated he had carefully saved money for decades, depositing it into various banks.
