Imprisoned former PM of Pakistan, leader of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) demanded an apology from Field Marshal General Asim Munir and refuted to offer any formal regrets. He allegedly claimed that Asim Munir appears to be ‘control-driven’ and carries ‘totalitarian system’. “Munir does not know Islam nor does morally appeals”, he further uttered, rather than hoping for any formal excuses from me, General should offer his apologies to me regarding 9th May incident. “Munir staged the 9th May incident and wiped away CCTV evidences”. “May 9 is General’s contingency plan” Captain stated. 72-year-old Khan, captivated in Adiyala Jail, uttered furthermore, “neither democracy nor authoritarianism co-exists in this country. The only thing that exists is Munir’s totalitarian system, which is the reason behind Trump’s invitation to Munir rather than the current PM of Pakistan”, Captain uttered. Imran Khan disclosed the disappearance of his blood relatives, though having no interference in politics. “I am incarcerated in isolation and granted only 3 meetings in 3 months. This is all done to snub me”, he revealed.
Khan said that his wife, Bushra Begum, has been kept in solitary confinement and forced to give him up for the last eight months, but she has stuck with him.
She has been subjected to disciplinary isolation, suffered electric shocks, received visible bruises, and compelled to drink dirty water, Khan alleged. He claimed that systematic brutality was being unleashed upon her under the instructions of Army Chief Asim Munir.

My message to him (Munir) is clear: regardless of pressure put upon me, regardless of the number of my family members put under detention, I will neither surrender nor agree to this oppressive treatment. My struggle for true freedom will continue at any cost,” Khan reiterated.
The former premier also leveled additional accusations against Munir of discrediting national institutions, claiming the judiciary had been disassembled, the media muzzled, and law and order turned into criminal activity.
He also attacked the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) — an economic institution led by the military — demanding it cannot save the economy without first establishing the rule of law.
“Every dictatorship in history has politicized judges to strengthen its hold over power. Today, due to deferential judges, the rule of law in Pakistan is totally decimated,” Khan claimed.
