During interrogation, the accused revealed that he was an official of the Sadiqabad Police Station and also told about a broker named Kashi who pretended to be an ASI in plain clothes. The other accomplices fled, leaving the abductee with the vehicle and belongings. SSP Operations Rawalpindi Kashif Zulfiqar took notice of the incident and issued orders for the arrest of the absconding officials and accused.
