As per the resources of The INQUIRER, A mother of three children was allegedly raped by two persons on the double road area of New Town police station while pretending to get her a job, while the accused also kept making an indecent video of the woman.
According to the victim in her video statement, while working in a call center, she met a woman named Fari, who inquired about her current economic situation, and after making friendship with her she consoled her to get a better job.
In the name of the interview woman along with the victim reached the house at Double Road where on arrival he saw that there were two people including Khanun who allegedly raped him at gunpoint. The accused kept threatening and making obscene videos.
When the victim reached the New Town police station to seek justice, the police, started using traditional tactics, sat in front of the plaintiff, and pressured her for reconciliation.
On taking notice of CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani, a case was registered against the accused while the video statement of the victim woman also came to the scene.
According to the police, in the FIR registered in the complaint of the victim, the woman said that she is a resident of Islamabad, has three children and after separation from her husband she is living with her parents.
Meanwhile, when the media tried to contact SHO New Town Anwar-ul-Haq to find out the position of the police regarding the incident and the harassment of the woman in the police station, but there was no response.
