If we turn the pages of history about Dual Citizenship, it was a very important initiative for those who were suffering from conflict between countries. and it was also a source of respect for immigrants. But in Pakistan everything is pathetic.
Today the story, The INQUIRER brings is terrifying. Because those officers, who have the most powerful authority over the Country, have dual Nationality which is also a unique example in the World.
More than 22,000 officers in important positions have taken citizenship of the United States, Canada, England and Australia. According to the list presented in the Supreme Court, the number of officers with dual citizenship is 22,380.
In them, 1100 are only related to police and bureaucracy with 540 Canadian and 240 British. About 190 are also citizens of the United States, and Dozens of civil servants have also taken the citizenship of countries like Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Ireland. 110 government officials are also holding important government positions 6 of Grade 22.
