Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi has been embroiled in a controversy involving millions of rupees. According to an audit report, Sethi allegedly failed to return Rs. 69 lakh in advances, despite receiving Rs. 26.2 crore in TADA and other advances during his tenure. The court has intervened, halting the recovery of the outstanding amount. The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has instructed PCB officials to settle the matter pending confirmation of the court order.
The controversy surrounds the large amount of advances paid to Sethi, with a significant portion remaining unaccounted for. The PCB officials have been directed to resolve the issue in accordance with the court’s instructions, leaving many questions about financial management within the PCB under Sethi’s leadership.
