The Anti-Corruption Circle of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore took action and arrested four agents including the guard and sweeper of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lahore.
The FIA spokesman said that the accused Karamat, Abbas, Zafar and Adnan have been arrested from the Office, while three accused Abdul Rehman, Tayyab and Rustam escaped from the spot.
The spokesman says that the accused used to collect money from the citizens for verification of documents, various documents, passports and mobile phones have been seized from the accused and a case has been registered against them under various provisions.
Director FIA Lahore Zone Sarfraz Khan Work says that indiscriminate actions are being taken against the agent mafia, those who extort money from simple citizens do not deserve concessions.
First we need to eliminate corruption from police, FIA, Judiciary and violaters of the constitution, then we can eliminate the agent mafia which are openly operating everywhere.
