The Federal Investigation Agency’s Composite Circle in Shaheed Benazirabad has taken decisive action against corruption within the Motorway Police by arresting an official allegedly involved in serious misconduct.
The accused, Aizaz Akbar, who was serving as an Assistant Patrolling Officer, was taken into custody after the Special Judge of the Anti-Corruption Court Central Hyderabad cancelled his pre-arrest bail.
Aizaz Akbar is accused of issuing fake challan tickets to citizens, thereby engaging in forgery, fraud, and corrupt practices during his tenure. Following his arrest, the court has remanded him into custody for 14 days to facilitate further investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that the inquiry into the full extent of his alleged wrongdoing is ongoing, with more details expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
