The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), through its Customs Enforcement Wing, has sanctioned a reward distribution totaling over Rs. 22.7 million for officers in BS-17 to BS-22 serving in various Pakistan Customs field formations. The rewards are part of the ongoing Transformation Plan and the Rating & Reward System introduced for the financial year 2024-25.
According to an official communication dated April 13, 2025, addressed to the Chief Collector of Customs (Appraisement-North), Peshawar, the approval has been granted by the competent authority. The reward allocations were determined using the Reward Recommendation System (RSS), which assesses the final performance rating of each officer.

The sanctioned amounts are as follows: Rs. 4,707,120 for the Collectorate of Customs Appraisement (North), Peshawar; Rs. 10,356,360 for the Collectorate of Customs Appraisement, Peshawar; Rs. 7,260,180 for the Collectorate of Customs Gilgit-Baltistan; and Rs. 393,540 for the Collectorate of Customs Appraisement, Kohat. The total amount approved stands at Rs. 22,717,200.
The sanction is subject to income tax deductions and will be charged to the allocated budget grant for the current financial year. A detailed breakdown of the reward recommendations for each individual officer has been attached as Annex-A with the letter, signed by Secretary Enforcement Afnan Khan.
