The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has officially approved the allocation of PKR 22.7 million in reward funds for meritorious officers serving in Pakistan Customs field formations. This initiative falls under the Transformation Plan and the Rating & Reward System for the fiscal year 2024–25.
According to the notification issued by Secretary (Enforcement) Afnan Khan (C.No. 7(2)Cust-Enforcement/2025/V), the reward amounts were determined through the Reward Recommendation System (RRS), based on the final performance ratings of individual officers in grades BS-17 to BS-22.

These funds are to be disbursed after deduction of income tax and charged to the FBR’s budget for FY 2024-25. A formal sanction letter is to be issued accordingly.
Officer-Specific Rewards Report
The reward evaluation covered the period from July to December 2024, with a total of 15 officers recognized. The detailed officer-wise disbursement report (as of April 19, 2025) includes the following notable allocations:
- Officer 50037819 (PR7099 – Peshawar Appraisement North) received the highest individual reward of PKR 4,707,120.
- Three officers from Gilgit-Baltistan (GL0345) collectively received over PKR 6.5 million.
- Multiple officers from Peshawar Appraisement (PR1322) received individual rewards ranging from PKR 622,920 to PKR 2,080,800.
The initiative aims to boost morale, recognize high performance, and support the continued transformation of Pakistan Customs under FBR’s reform agenda.
