A major breakthrough has been achieved in Faisalabad as the leader of an organized group involved in human trafficking and drug smuggling has been arrested. Israrullah, the detained suspect, was taken into custody from Mochi Gate Lahore by the FIA Composite Circle Faisalabad.
The suspect’s modus technique was to trick innocent citizens into smuggling drugs under the guise of Umrah. In one such instance, Israrullah sent a family of five to Saudi Arabia on an Umrah visa, deceiving them into performing free Umrah. Â Despite telling the family, the suspect had hidden drugs (ice) in their luggage.
The Saudi authorities discovered the drugs during a routine check, resulting in the arrest of the entire family. The FIA has launched an investigation and is conducting raids to apprehend other individuals involved in the smuggling ring.
