So many times we highlighted the massive corruption stories in Pakistan Customs and other Government Institutions, which make the loss of billions of rupees to the National Exchequer. We will continue our mission as our necessary obligation.
Once again according to the sources of The Inquirer; A letter number 4019-10/2024 was written to the Pakistan Information Commission, in which the writer said about the matter of buying a car) BMW model number 2002) for just 50,000 Pakistani Rupees.
Does it make sense that the world’s most expensive car is just 50,000? The internal story is a corruption collaboration of the Pakistan Customs and NADRA. All of such miracles are possible in Pakistan with the help of corrupt and biased customs officers.
Unfortunately, the most significant and valuable institution of Pakistan is under the attack of economic terrorism and they are bombing the National Exchequer.
According to the letter; The public body vide letter (31-12-2024) informed that NADRA filed a complaint to the FIA vide letter (04-11-2024) for lodging an FIR against EX-DG NADRA for misuse of official authority concerning vehicle BMW Model NO. 2002 and Inquiry No.4132024 is under process. Therefore under Section 16 (b)(ii) of the Right of Access to Information Act, 2017 “ the information cannot be disclosed as it may harm the detection, Prevention, investigation or inquiry in a particular case” The question here is why it should be secret. The matter is about the national exchequer and the public has the right to know how their money is looted.
According to the appellant, the main purpose of the letter is to highlight the officer who misused a vehicle that was taken from the Director General, Intelligence and Investigation Customs against payment of 50,000 only. While securing the written reply from the public body the name of the officer has come to the surface and an inquiry is pending with FIA about the misuse of the BMW Car.
Now the ball is in the court of FIA, to probe the matter reveal the real accused.
