Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, while addressing a protest by PTI parliamentarians outside the Islamabad High Court, stated that they had gathered to demand justice for their leader and party workers. He emphasized that all cases against the PTI founder and its workers are baseless, and the judiciary must ensure decisions are made on merit.

Asad Qaiser remarked that even before court verdicts are announced, the outcomes seem to be known to the public, raising questions about transparency. He alleged that the judiciary is planning to distribute PTI’s reserved seats among treasury benches, which, he asserted, is a blatant violation of the Constitution.

He urged the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and all high court chiefs to uphold the dignity and independence of the judicial system. He further stated that the 26th Constitutional Amendment has undermined the justice system in Pakistan and vowed that PTI would challenge it at every forum.
