Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that Pakistan has been able to effectively highlight the Kashmir issue at the global level.
In an interview with an Indian TV channel, Omar Abdullah said that many things have changed since the Indo-Pak war, but if nothing has changed, it is Pakistan’s plan to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level.
He said that the victims of the Pahalgam incident did not get justice due to India’s attack on Pakistan, but Pakistan has effectively brought the Kashmir issue to the global agenda.
Omar Abdullah also stressed that the current situation has brought us to a point that could not have been expected earlier and now the United States is also showing interest in playing a mediating or monitoring role in the Kashmir issue
