Chairman CDA, Chief Commissioner Islamabad and DG Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa along with Member Environment, Member Admin, Member Engineering and other concerned officers paid a surprise visit to the CDA Nursery located at Park Road Islamabad.

Where they took a detailed review of the progress made so far regarding the upgradation, renovation of the CDA Nursery and its conversion into a Gardenia Hub. The Chairman CDA said that the aim of upgrading the CDA Nursery is to make Islamabad an important horticultural center in the future and the construction of modern and beautiful flower shops should be completed soon.

The Chairman CDA said that modern controlled and ventilated greenhouses should be built in the nursery, which is rich in unique and natural beauty, and the nursery facility should also be provided for tissue propagation in the project.

The Chairman CDA further said that a space should also be allocated in the nursery for the exhibition of colorful flowers. He added that the comprehensive design of the project highlights the commitment of CDA to improve green areas in Islamabad and promote a culture of environmental sustainability.

He added that the establishment of the nursery as a Gardenia Hub is another step towards making Islamabad a greener and more vibrant capital. The Chairman CDA said that all resources have been directed to be utilized to transform the CDA Model Nursery into a state-of-the-art model nursery.
