The International Cricket Council (ICC) reacted to the Indian board’s move to illuminate ‘Pakistan’ on its team jerseys for the ICC Champions Trophy. According to Indian media reports BCCI is not keen on writing Pakistan on its team kit as part of the ‘host country regulation.
According to Indian media, the ICC has reportedly told the BCCI that India is bound to write Pakistan on the team kit as Pakistan is the host of the tournament India already attempted to create controversy once again regarding Pakistan Cricket at this very crucial time.
According to the reports, an official from the ICC while talking about this, said that it is the responsibility of every team to include the logo of the tournament in their jerseys, and all the teams are obliged to comply with this rule. The apex board has also reportedly said that strict action can be taken against the Indian team if the players’ kits do not have the Champions Trophy logo with the name of the host country Pakistan.

According to ICC rules, the name of the host country must be written on the teams’ jerseys, regardless of the fact where the matches are being played. But BCCI with an unethical attitude does not want to write Pakistan on the team’s shirts, but the Pakistan Cricket Board has allegedly denied receiving any such information from the Indian board.
