Bayazid Kharoti, a media columnist and social media activist, has been accused of human trafficking, forgery, and blackmail. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against him, and the court has given him time until the 10th to present his defense.

The allegations against Kharoti are severe, including:

  1. Human Trafficking: Kharoti is accused of involvement in human trafficking, with evidence suggesting that he was in contact with agents who were arrested in an FIA operation.
  2. Forgery: Kharoti allegedly made fake Pakistani identity cards and passports, and helped other refugees to become Pakistani citizens illegally.
  3. Blackmail: Kharoti is accused of using social media as a tool for blackmail.
  4. Illegal Activities: Kharoti is also accused of illegal sale of government property, making benami properties, and having unexplained sources of income.

During the court proceedings, Kharoti’s behavior was deemed indecent, and he was found to have violated the sanctity of the court. The investigating officer, Shahid Ilyas, expressed surprise at Kharoti’s income, stating that his total income is less than 5 lakhs, despite his ability to spend months in different countries.

The court’s decision to give Kharoti time to present his defense suggests that the case is ongoing, and further legal action is expected.
