The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out six operations across different cities, arresting four suspects, including a woman, and seizing over 150 kilograms of narcotics valued at more than Rs42 million.
At Jinnah International Airport’s cargo shed, 7.32 kilograms of ice were recovered from clothing items in a parcel bound for Saudi Arabia.
In another operation near Haro Toll Plaza, Attock, 12 kilograms of charas were recovered from a rickshaw, leading to the arrest of a suspect.
At Faisal Mosque’s parking area in Islamabad, one kilogram of ice and one kilogram of suspicious chemical material were recovered from a vehicle, with two suspects, including a woman, taken into custody.
Separately, 200 grams of charas were seized from a suspect near Fawara Chowk in Dera Ismail Khan.
In Karachi’s Korangi area, 9.8 kilograms of charas were recovered from bushes, while in Kach Sardar, Loralai district, ANF teams discovered a drug-making facility in a desert area, seizing 120 kilograms of cannabis.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act, 1997, and further investigations are underway.
