The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted operations in various cities, arresting 8 suspects and recovering 191.164 kg of drugs worth over Rs 40 million. The seized items included:
- 648 kg of hashish at Multan International Airport
- 516 grams of heroin at Karachi Airport
- 120 kg of opium in Dalbandin, Chagai
- 64 kg of opium on Pishin Road, Balochistan
- 3 kg of hashish near Sakhi Sarwar Road, DG Khan
- 1 kg of hashish in a parcel at Lahore Cargo Office
- 1 kg of ice near Sher Shah Toll Plaza, Multan
Cases have been registered under the Narcotics Control Act, and investigations are underway.
