During a nationwide crackdown against drug smuggling, the Anti-Narcotics Force of Pakistan arrested 12 suspects, including four women, in eight distinct operations. Some of the seizures include:
- 876 kg of narcotics valued at over 96 million rupees,
- 75 heroin-filled capsules from a woman traveling to Riyadh at Islamabad International Airport,
- 6 kg of charas from a suspect near a bridge on IJP near Islamabad,
- 5 kg of heroin from three suspects in Johar Town, Lahore,
- 670 kg of charas from a vehicle near Bella Road in G-10, Islamabad, where two suspects were arrested,
- 5 kg of opium from a woman near a hotel in Hyderabad,
- 2 kg of ice from a woman near Al-Asif Bus Terminal on Airport Road in Quetta.
Anti-Narcotics Force is active in eradicating drugs and the systematic network of drug dealers across the country.
