Employees are leaving the organization due to non-increase in salaries and better job opportunities in other airlines.

The resignation of 110 employees has created a severe shortage of aircraft engineers and technicians in the national airline and has doubled the workload of PIA aircraft engineers and technicians on aircraft maintenance and repair work.

According to the sources, the engineers and technicians have declared an immediate increase in salaries as inevitable.

Meanwhile, PIA has confirmed the resignations of aircraft engineers and technicians, a PIA spokesperson said, that the number of engineers and technicians who left in the last two years was due to experience in the aviation industry abroad.

According to the spokesman, the management is aware of the lack of increase in salary for the past several years due to inflation and the management is trying to get approval from the government and the board to increase the salary.
