Quetta- PPP MPA Liaquat Lahri has confirmed that a majority of the party’s members want to remove the current Chief Minister, Sarfraz Bugti, and that his replacement will also be from the Pakistan Peoples Party.

Speaking to Samaa TV, he said the party leadership is holding consultations to select a new, positive face who understands the province’s challenges and can steer it out of ongoing crises. He added that ground realities have been clearly conveyed to the leadership.

Lahri said all members will support whatever decision the party leadership makes, as the sole objective is to safeguard Balochistan’s interests.

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has not issued any statement so far. An announcement is expected soon.
