Beijing: Pakistan’s Finance and Revenue Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting in Beijing with Mr. Jing Feng, Chairman of Hongta Securities, to discuss expanding financial sector collaboration between Pakistan and China. The Finance Minister shared details of Pakistan’s recent economic progress and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to structural reforms aimed at achieving sustainable and inclusive growth.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in capital markets and building stronger financial sector linkages between the two countries. Senator Aurangzeb emphasized that Pakistan is actively diversifying its financing sources while seeking to deepen engagement with both global and Chinese institutional investors.
The Finance Minister underlined that Pakistan greatly values its partnership with Chinese investors and sees financial cooperation as a critical pillar of bilateral relations. He stated that continued collaboration between Pakistan and China can unlock new opportunities, support mutual growth, and contribute to stronger economic resilience on both sides.
