The main accused in the case of the car accident in Multan, Toqeer, was killed in an alleged police encounter near Bahawalpur.
The accused had crushed a 15-year-old boy with a car on Monday. The orphan, Waseem Abbas, was fed up with the inhuman behavior of the accused Toqeer and did not want to work.
According to District Officer CCD Irfan Akbar, after the incident, the accused Toqeer was arrested and presented in court and then the accused was handed over to the police on a 4-day remand by the judicial magistrate, from where he escaped.
District Officer CCD said that the police tried to stop two motorcyclists on the Northern Bypass, Bahawalpur.
He said that when the police stopped them, the accused opened fire while running away. During this, the accused Tauqir was killed by his accomplice, while the accused’s accomplice escaped.
It should be noted that the lawyers also subjected the accused to torture during his appearance in court.
