Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the head of one political party is very angry about not getting a share in the Governor’s Rule and the governorship. Mohsin Naqvi, while talking to journalists in Lahore, said that these are the same politicians who used to do politics with the support of the establishment for decades in the past.
Mohsin Naqvi said that they used to get their political party’s air tickets from the establishment. Today, such politicians do not like to point fingers at others. Political differences should be kept in their place. Instead of rude language and accusations, discussions should be based on arguments and facts.
Mohsin Naqvi said that some political leaders are very concerned about the resources of the districts of the former FATA today. He asked why these people were silent when the districts of the former FATA were not getting their rightful share for many years. Why did they not remember to make any statement for the rights of the people of the former FATA at that time?
Mohsin Naqvi said that the rights and resources of the people of former FATA should be above political interests. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is currently facing serious security challenges.
The Interior Minister said that instead of inciting fire and spreading chaos, political leaders should play a role in restoring peace and order and eliminating terrorism. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa does not need political confrontation but peace, stability and joint efforts.
