The vision of the IG and DIG of the City is to provide facilities to police stations in Islamabad. If we look around the urban part of the Capital City, is equipped with furnished building rooms and all kinds of facilities after an investment of millions of rupees.
while there are a few police stations in the ruler area that are being treated with indolence, the miserable condition of such Police stations as there is no proper sitting area for the police officers after the 24 hours of duty.
The condition of Sang Jani Police station is also extremely bad as in this coldest weather there is not a proper place to sit only. The entire building has only a few rooms including Thana Humak followed by Thana Shams Colony.
These are the police stations which consist of only four to five rooms where there are no other facilities even drinking water is not available. Despite this, they are deprived of all the basic and central facilities, whereas the other police stations are working in a modern style with the investment of millions of rupees.
Police personnel are requested to high authorities to provide updated buildings, equipped with modern facilities to perform their duties more efficiently and professionally.
