In a major operation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) with the help of Interpol, 7 dangerous suspects were apprehended in UAE and handed over to the Punjab Police. The suspects, namely Sufyan Ali, Ukasha Iqbal, Zohaib Shahzad, Abdul Latif, Muhammad Jalil, Muhammad Ramiz Ashraf, and Muhammad Usman were on the wanted lists for terrorism, murder, attempted murder, robbery, and fraud.

The suspects were arrested from the UAE and brought to Lahore Airport by flight number 9P501. They were handed over to the Punjab police, who had been looking for them. Coordination between Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Abu Dhabi was close to securing the extradition.

The suspects were wanted by various police departments in Punjab, including Gujranwala, Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, DG Khan, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. They had been in hiding for many years, with some cases dating back to 2015 and beyond.

The FIA and Interpol have issued red notices for the arrest of these suspects, and their extradition is a major landmark in the fight against crime. The arrest became possible in coordination with and close coordination among Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Abu Dhabi, using modern NCB Interpol technologies and round-the-clock coordination with international authorities.
