Five people gang-raped a girl in Punjab’s Sargodha district on the pretext of a job abroad.
According to the report, Sargodha police said that the 22-year-old girl was taken to DHQ Hospital in critical condition. Police registered a case at Jhal Chakian police station on the request of the father of the girl who was gang-raped.
According to the police, Samar Butt, a resident of Dharima Nawab Colony, was interviewed to send the girl abroad. Father Amanullah alleged that Samar Butt and his four friends took her to an unknown location and raped her long with companions.
Father Amanullah said that the accused left the girl at DHQ Hospital and fled when she was unconscious. As soon as the incident was reported, other officers including the DPO also reached Jhal Chakian police station.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha said that a raid team has been formed to arrest the accused.
